Overview

Matthew is a DEMOS Associate working with 3 Local Authorities to improve parental involvement in children’s learning and get young people back into education employment or training. In the autumn he will be taking up post at Participle - a design studio for reinventing public services along with Hilary Cottam, Charles Leadbeater, David Albury and Colin Burns. Matthew has worked on family policy in government, and as a senior researcher at DEMOS where he ran their programme on public service reform. Recent projects include work on drug misuse, quality of life in old age, school leadership, prisons and healthcare.
