The Innovation Exchange is working to grow innovation from the third sector. We are focused on next practice – on solutions to problems we are yet to solve, like how to provide personalised care for all or activities that speak to the needs of every young person.

This website has been designed to support the work of the Innovation Exchange and to provide a vehicle to help third sector innovators, social investors and commissioners of public services to come together around opportunities for innovation. We are working on a more sophisticated site, but at the moment it is primarily based around a set of blogs, which allow people to publish short posts about innovation they are working on or innovations they feel are really needed or would like to find. There is one blog about the Innovation Exchange itself and one for each of our two areas of focus; independent living and excluded young people. Take a look at some of the innovations people are talking about.
Alongside events like our Festival of Ideas, this site is also designed to help people to make contact with one another around third sector innovation. Once you have signed up, you can use the people page to find people with similar interests and to connect with them by email.
