  • Better Mental Health: Information for public sector professionals

This event will focus on high-potential third sector innovations related to personalisation and mental health.  The event builds on the work of A Better Future in Mind, which reviewed mental health services in the North West, and will be opened by Richard Jones, Executive Director of Adult and Community Services, Lancashire County Council.  Richard says:

building mental health is a complex challenge and one person or organisation has all the answers.  Addressing it requires innovative thinking and action to help us build excellent joined-up services.  We need to work together with passion and commitment to help everyone lead fulfilling, independent lives.

    Why should I come?
This Festival of Ideas is a great opportunity for you to:

    • network and build relationships with key leaders from different sectors and service areas
    • learn about innovative provision in your region
    • collaborate with colleagues, innovators and investors.

    How will it benefit me?
Festival of Ideas are specifically designed to support you in the commissioning process.  It will allow you to:

    • discover how innovative services can help you to meet your objectives and realise the ambitions of A Better Future in Mind
    • build a shared understanding about the issues affecting your area across the public and third sector
    • engage in dialogue with innovators and investors to find smart solutions to difficult challenges
    • help shape the services of the future and ensure they meet the needs of people in the North West.

We are working with the North West Joint Improvement Partners and NHS Northwest to identify suitable invitees for this Festival of Ideas from across the North West.  However, if you would like to request an invitation, please do not hesitate to email us.
